AIMS, OBJECTIVES AND SCOPE

Journal of Biomolecules, Pathogenesis and Therapeutics (JBPT) aims to serve as a high-quality, peer-reviewed platform for the dissemination of original and innovative research in the biomedical, clinical, and translational sciences. The journal is dedicated to advancing scientific understanding of interdisciplinary research that integrates molecular biology, pathophysiology, clinical pathogenesis, diagnostic methodologies, and therapeutic interventions.

The primary objectives of JBPT are to:

  • Promote interdisciplinary research integrating biomolecular science, pathology, clinical diagnostics, and therapeutics.

  • Encourage high-quality basic, translational, and clinical research with direct relevance to disease diagnosis, management, and prevention.

  • Provide a credible publication platform for early-career researchers, clinicians, and laboratory scientists, while maintaining rigorous peer-review standards.

  • Support ethical research practices and transparent scholarly communication in accordance with international publication guidelines.

  • Facilitate the global exchange of scientific knowledge by encouraging submissions from both national and international researchers.

JBPT covers a broad range of scientific domains, including but not limited to biomolecules such as proteins, nucleic acids, glycans, lipids, and associated molecular complexes; molecular and cellular mechanisms of pathogenesis; host–pathogen interactions in infectious and non-infectious diseases; immunopathology and immune modulation; and drug discovery and therapeutic development. The journal also welcomes research on vaccines, biologics, and precision medicine, as well as studies focusing on diagnostic biomarkers, molecular diagnostics, and molecular imaging approaches.

The journal accepts basic, translational, clinical, and computational studies, including experimental, observational, and in silico research, provided they demonstrate methodological rigor and clear relevance to journal’s scope. JBPT encourages submissions that bridge fundamental discoveries with clinical or translational impact and contribute to evidence-based biomedical science.

JBPT publishes scholarly work across a broad spectrum of biomedical and clinical disciplines, including but not limited to:

  • Biomolecular and cellular biology

  • Molecular mechanisms of disease and pathogenesis

  • Clinical diagnostics and laboratory medicine

  • Histopathology, molecular pathology and genomics, and immunopathology

  • Microbiology, virology, and infectious diseases

  • Hematology, Oncology, clinical biochemistry, Diagnostic biomarkers and precision medicine

  • Pharmacology and therapeutic developments, Vaccines, biologics, and precision medicine

  • Genetics techniques, gene expression, gene therapies and gene regulations based studies

The journal welcomes original research articles, review articles, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, short communications, methodological papers, Technical Updates, Experimental Novelties, View Points and well-documented case reports. Editorials, Letter to Editors, Correspondence, Comments on Articles published in JBPT are also accepted.

JBPT is committed to enhancing the visibility, accessibility, and impact of published research. The journal follows international best practices in scholarly publishing to meet the technical and ethical requirements of reputable indexing and abstracting services. The journal is structured to fulfill eligibility criteria for inclusion in recognized indexing databases and directories, including but not limited to:

  • Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ)

  • Google Scholar

  • Crossref (for DOI registration)

  • Open Archives Initiative (OAI-PMH compliant services)

  • Regional and international academic indexing platforms

Applications for indexing will be submitted progressively as the journal meets the required publication volume, consistency, and quality benchmarks.
