Appeals submitted to the Journal of Biomolecules, Pathogenesis and Therapeutics (JBPT) are reviewed objectively to determine whether established editorial procedures were properly followed and whether the original decision was reached fairly, consistently, and without inappropriate bias. The Editorial Board may examine the complete manuscript history, peer-review reports, editorial correspondence, reviewer comments, and relevant ethical or procedural documentation as part of the appeal assessment.
Appeals are handled independently and confidentially. Submission of an appeal does not guarantee reversal, reconsideration, or acceptance of the original manuscript. Where appropriate, the appeal may be referred to an editor who was not involved in the original decision to ensure an independent assessment. JBPT aims to resolve legitimate appeals as promptly as reasonably possible while maintaining the integrity, confidentiality, and fairness of the editorial process.
