About the Journal

Journal of Biomolecules, Pathogenesis and Therapeutics (JBPT) is an international, quarterly, peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes high-quality research at the interface of biomolecular science, disease mechanisms, and therapeutic development. The journal provides an international platform for studies that advance the molecular understanding of human diseases and translate these insights into clinical diagnostic, preventive medicine, and therapeutic applications.

JBPT publishes basic, translational, and clinical research focusing on biomolecules such as proteins, nucleic acids, glycans, lipids, and immune mediators involved in infectious, inflammatory, metabolic, genetic, and neoplastic disorders. Emphasis is placed on mechanistic investigations, host–pathogen interactions, biomarker discovery, molecular diagnosis and the evaluation of emerging therapeutic strategies.

The journal serves researchers, clinicians, biotechnologists, pharmaceutical scientists, and healthcare professionals working in molecular medicine, immunology, microbiology, and drug discovery. JBPT is owned and published by the Al-Najam Institute for Excellence in Advanced Scientific Research, and operates with full editorial independence while adhering to ethical publishing standards in accordance with the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
